Il est d'usage de photographier le "avant" "après" en cuisine. Bien sûr, on a foiré le truc !
On avait pourtant potassé le Grondin, LA Bible culinaire de la Réunion avec ses chouchous farcis et rillettes de poisson, on avait aussi commencé à faire des photos mais voilà..
Nous avons donc décidé que la transformation, la métamorphose, la transmutation du chouchou vers son farci et celle du poisson vers sa rillette primaient sur le résultat.
Soyons comme les sages taoistes et énonçons la règle magique : Il n'y a pas de voie vers l'éveil des papilles, l'éveil des papilles est la voie..

People normally take "Before" and "After" pictures of what they cook. We forgot ! Yet we had studied the culinary Bible of Reunion Island, THE Grondin and picked up recipes for fish rillettes and stuffed chouchous (I have no idea how to translate chouchou into English !), we had even started taking pictures..
We therefore decided to turn to Taoist wisdom and focus on metamorphosis. The transmutation of chouchou into a stuffed item and fish into rillettes enabled us to voice out this well-known Taoist rule : There is no Way to enlightenment of Taste Buds, the enlightenment of Taste Buds is the Way..
