We cast an epicurean, quirky, joyful and urban eye over fooding. We do not aim at saving nor feeding the world.

One of the last project of the Austrian photographer Klaus Pichler, "One third" is exhibited at the Anzenberger Gallery in Vienna.

What does this Third mean ?
It stands for the 1.3 billion tons of food, one third of the total world food supply, that is  regularly thrown away, according to a United Nations recent studyNeedless to speak of the 925 millions starving people all over the world.

Only Amélie Nothomb, the queen of rotten food, can enjoy this gigantic waste..
